Laser cutting for agricultural equipment

Agricultural equipment
Laser-cut wear parts, plowshares, blades, brackets and structural reinforcements
Based in the Morbihan region of Brittany, Baud Laser supports manufacturers, equipment builders and repairers of agricultural machinery across Brittany and the Greater West of France. Our 4000 W AMADA fiber laser cuts your wear parts and structural components to a tolerance of ±0.1 mm, on sheets up to 3000 x 1500 mm.
The agricultural sector demands hard, abrasion-resistant steels: we cut Hardox up to 20 mm thick for plowshares, mower and shredder blades, points and any part exposed to ground friction. S355 and high-strength low-alloy (HLE) steel, also cut up to 20 mm, are ideal for mounting brackets, flanges, base plates and chassis reinforcements that must withstand stress and vibration.
The clean edges produced by laser cutting reduce secondary machining and make downstream bending and welding easier. Laser cutting performs equally well on a prototype for a new part and on small or large spare-part runs: a single file guarantees perfectly repeatable parts from one batch to the next.
In peak season, an idle shredder or plow is costly; our responsiveness lets you quickly resume production of spare parts from your drawings or from a simple sample to reproduce. Parts to spec, reference marking for traceability, sheet nesting to reduce scrap: we tailor every order to your requirements for durability, lead time and budget. Free quote.

Frequently asked questions
Agricultural equipment
Which agricultural parts do you cut by laser?
Baud Laser fiber-laser cuts wear and structural parts for agricultural equipment: plowshares and plow points, mower and shredder blades, mounting brackets and flanges, chassis reinforcements and base plates, as well as any spare part made to drawing or from a sample to reproduce.
What thickness of Hardox can you cut?
Our 4000 W AMADA fiber laser cuts abrasion-resistant Hardox steel up to 20 mm thick, ideal for plowshares, blades and parts exposed to abrasion. We also cut S355 and HLE high-strength steel up to 20 mm for brackets, flanges and structural reinforcements.
What precision and sheet size do you offer for farm parts?
Parts are cut to a tolerance of ±0.1 mm on a maximum sheet size of 3000 x 1500 mm. The clean edges produced by laser cutting reduce secondary work and make bending and welding of agricultural components easier.
Can you produce spare parts quickly during the season?
Yes. Our responsiveness lets you quickly resume production of spare parts from your drawings, minimizing machine downtime in peak season. We handle one-off prototypes as well as small and large production runs, with a free quote.
