Marine & Boating
Marine parts, deck hardware, brackets and deck components
Based in Baud, in the heart of Morbihan and close to the Lorient and Vannes shipyards, we support boating and marine businesses with precision laser cutting. Our AMADA 4000W fibre laser handles formats up to 3000 x 1500 mm with ±0.1 mm accuracy, ideal for demanding marine parts.
Stainless steel 316L, up to 12 mm thick, remains the reference material for its resistance to salt corrosion: deck hardware, fairleads, chainplates, winch bases, deck brackets and hull reinforcements. Marine aluminium, cut up to 10 mm, lightens fit-out components, coamings and deck hatches, while copper and brass, up to 5 mm, suit decorative parts and through-hull fittings.
Laser cutting delivers clean, burr-free edges that reduce rework and ease downstream polishing, bending and welding. We handle both rapid prototyping of a single part for a shipyard and small or large production runs for equipment and accessory manufacturers. Laser marking and engraving provide durable part identification. Working from your drawings (DXF, DWG, STEP) or from a simple sketch, we adapt tolerances to the constraints of the marine environment.
With over 10 years of experience, we serve the whole of western France: Morbihan, Finistère, Côtes-d'Armor, Ille-et-Vilaine and Loire-Atlantique. Free quote.

Frequently asked questions
Marine & Boating
Which materials do you use for marine parts?
For the marine sector, Baud Laser mainly cuts 316L stainless steel up to 12 mm thick, known for its resistance to salt corrosion, as well as marine aluminium up to 10 mm and copper or brass up to 5 mm for decorative parts and through-hull fittings.
How precise is your laser cutting for deck hardware?
Our AMADA 4000W fibre laser delivers ±0.1 mm accuracy on formats up to 3000 x 1500 mm. The resulting edges are clean and burr-free, which reduces rework on deck hardware, deck brackets and winch bases.
Do you produce prototypes and production runs for the marine industry?
Yes. Baud Laser handles both rapid prototyping of a single part and small or large production runs for marine equipment manufacturers, working from your DXF, DWG, STEP files or from a simple sketch.
