Body panels, reinforcements, brackets and automotive prototypes
Baud Laser supports manufacturers, suppliers, tuners and body shops across Brittany and western France with laser cutting of automotive parts. On our AMADA 4000W fibre laser, with a 3000 x 1500 mm working area, we produce structural reinforcements, engine and gearbox mounting brackets, sensor plates, brackets, fine sheet metal parts and body prototypes with clean, accurate cutting.
We process the sector's key materials: S235JR steel up to 20 mm for structural elements, Hardox for parts exposed to wear and high stress, 5754 aluminium up to 15 mm for weight-saving parts, 304L and 316L stainless steel up to 20 mm for exhaust lines and fixings, and galvanised steel up to 4 mm for corrosion-protected parts.
Laser cutting delivers clean, burr-free edges that reduce rework and simplify downstream bending, welding and assembly. Our responsiveness adapts to any volume: one-off prototypes from your drawings to validate a geometry, small batches for classic-car restoration or niche production, up to larger production runs for subcontracting.
From your DXF, DWG or PDF files, we ensure manufacturing true to drawing and repeatable dimensional quality from one batch to the next. Free quotation plus advice on material selection and part optimisation.

Frequently asked questions
Automotive
Which automotive parts do you laser cut?
Baud Laser fibre-laser cuts structural reinforcements, mounting brackets and plates, fine sheet metal parts, body prototypes and spare parts. The AMADA 4000W machine handles formats up to 3000 x 1500 mm with clean, accurate cutting.
Which materials and thicknesses do you use for automotive work?
We cut S235JR steel and Hardox up to 20 mm, 5754 aluminium up to 15 mm, 304L and 316L stainless steel up to 20 mm and galvanised steel up to 4 mm. The choice depends on the part's function: reinforcement, structural bracket, exhaust line or corrosion-protected element.
Can you produce prototypes and small batches?
Yes. Baud Laser produces both one-off prototypes from your drawings, to validate a geometry before industrialisation, and small to large production runs. This flexibility suits classic-car restoration, niche production and automotive subcontracting.
What cut quality do you achieve on automotive parts?
Our AMADA 4000W fibre laser delivers clean, accurate cutting with consistent repeatability from one batch to the next. Edges are clean and burr-free, which simplifies downstream bending, welding and assembly.
